As the presentation of the Nest discography on cassette tapes is concluded, the time has come for the inevitable departure of the Finnish kantele master A.T. from the hidden city. Before leaving, we gather one last time for his most contemplative and meditative effort yet - the 2015 album 'Mietteitä', which is now being made available on a physical format for the first time.

Consisting of 25 recordings of improvised acoustic performances with sparse analogue effects, this substantial full-length album is a portal to an earlier age of mysterious atmospheric music, as we imagine the first Finnish kantele players sitting in a solitary dreamlike state creating soothing melancholic soundscapes in symbiosis with their hand built instrument.

This release brings 'Mietteitä' out on a limited edition pro-tape, and is the follow up to 'Trail Of The Unwary' (GON126), 'Woodsmoke' (GON120) and 'Fabled Lore & Hidden Stream' (GON112). It features the drawing made by the artist to accompany the music, and some liner notes including an English dictionary of the track titles.
