Noble old school dungeon synth produced between 1997 and 2003. Grand sometimes folky chords performed without added effects and soundscapes to give a windswept monolithic expression, that feels both energised and mournful.

Talvi is a dark dungeon music solo project from Finland, started in 1997 and in 2001 self-releasing the Ikirouta demo on CDr. Lumiusva was the follow-up completed in 2003, but never publicised before the project went into hiatus. In 2022 the artist revived the project to present the old material online while also resuming production of new material in a highly consistent manner with the old. On January 12th Talvi will be performing live for the first time at a show in Helsinki with Nest, and later this year at the Northeast Dungeon Siege festival. This release will bring the old material out in an official capacity for the first time, and comes with a shorter rehearsal recording from 1997 added as a bonus track.
