While it truly needs no introduction, Ancient Woods is a highly regarded and celebrated album that has made a significant impact on dungeon synth. Eternal Fear began in Poland with a promo in early 1995 and then Ancient Woods was released in May of that year on Warhagan Records. The songs are solemn, calamitous, and brooding with blackened misery. If you haven’t listened to dungeon synth before, this is a great place to start.
