*DELIVERY TIMES / SHIPPING / PRE-ORDERS*

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO PACKAGE AND SEND MY ORDER?

A: We strive to ship all orders out as soon as possible, within 5 business days.

If it has been more than 5 business days (weekends do not count as 'business days'), and you have not received any tracking information yet, click the link in your order confirmation email to check the status. Feel free to send a message by email via the "Contact Us" link to ask for an update. Please be patient and only email us asking for a status update after this timespan has elapsed. Thanks for your understanding.

NOTE: There are some occurrences when it may take longer to mail your items, especially if we have received a large volume of orders all at once during a new release period. If you need a status update, feel free to send us an email.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE THE POSTAL SERVICE TO DELIVER MY ORDER?

Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of the postal service, the shipping option you selected, and your distance from the state of Maine. International shipping (including Canada) delivery times may vary between 2-8 weeks.

All domestic and most international destinations are shipped with tracking included so you can keep track of where your package is and when to expect it. We suggest using the site https://www.17track.net to get the best tracking results.

Q: WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED? WHAT IF MY LP JACKET HAS A DING TO A CORNER?

All items are packed well to ensure safe delivery and we're proud that less than 1% of packages we send have any issue in transit. However, as the mail handling from our destination to yours is out of our control, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by the Postal Service during transit if you choose basic/economy/media mail shipping. Priority Mail, UPS and DHL all include insurance by default and we can gladly help with any issues if you paid for one of these services.

Vinyl: Items are packed with care as best as possible before being shipped but we cannot 100% guarantee that your LP jacket will arrive in the 'Mint' condition it was in when sent - especially if Media Mail is chosen.

If you choose to order using an uninsured/basic shipping method, I am unable to give any refunds or credits if your LP jacket arrives with a dinged corner; Perfect condition is impossible to guarantee for items shipped through the mail even with the most bullet proof packaging, due to the way the postal service chooses to sometimes handles packages.

Short answer: If you want protection against loss or damage please select Priority Mail, UPS or DHL services which come with insurance included. Ordering with the basic / media mail rate is at your own risk.

Q: I MADE A "PRE-ORDER" - WHEN ARE MY ITEMS SHIPPING?

A: Check the item description in your order closely - any that are pre-orders will give a quote of estimated shipping time - this quote is the time from the date you made your order.
So, for example - if an item says "Pre-Order - shipping in 6-8 weeks" please only email us to ask for an update AFTER this period of time has elapsed. Note that the shipping estimate DOES NOT take into account how long it will take to reach you once we send it. For international customers, this can take up to another 2-8 weeks to reach you from the US, so please keep that in mind as well.

Q: DO YOU HAVE AN EU WEBSTORE FOR LOWER RATES?

Q: DO YOU ACCEPT ORDERS PLACED OUTSIDE THE US?

A:Yes, worldwide - with the exception of a few locations.* Most destinations also include Tracking, see a full list here:

*We do not ship to any of the following nations: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Philippines, Syria, Yemen, Guatemala, Venezuela or any nations on the continent of Africa and we reserve the right to cancel any orders we suspect to be possibly fraudulent or with a low chance of delivery, regardless of origin.

Q: CAN YOU SHIP MY TAPES/CDs WITHOUT THEIR PLASTIC CASES TO SAVE ON SHIPPING?

A: Yes! This is another way you can save on international shipping costs!
You can order up to 6 tapes without their plastic boxes for the same price as 3 with the plastic boxes included!
To request this option: Simply place your order as normal and write in the notes SEND MY ORDER WITHOUT THE PLASTIC TAPE CASES - we will then refund you the excess shipping charged.
EXAMPLE: 6 tapes with cases = $24 internationally -- 6 tapes without cases = $14 internationally - $10 saved. You will receive only the tapes/discs and their inserts only.

Q: WILL I HAVE TO PAY IMPORT TAX / DUTIES WHEN THE PACKAGE ARRIVES TO MY COUNTRY?

A: Out of Season has no way of knowing how/when/if your country decides to charge you taxes as it varies country by country. We try to minimize the likelihood of this happening to you, but if your country does decide to tax you, you will have to pay them to receive your package. If you refuse to pay the duties/tax and the package is returned to us, you will forfeit the shipping cost you paid as Refusal to Pay will be cited as the reason for return. This is non-negotiable and any messages dealing with paying your customs taxes will be referred to this paragraph.

Q: SOME OF MY ITEMS DID NOT COME WITH A DOWNLOAD CARD, WHERE ARE THEY?

A: Please note that not all items come with a DL code. Any that do, will have this noted in the product description if applicable and say "with DL card", so please take a look at your confirmation email closely. If you order an item that says "with DL card" and that item is indeed missing it, please let us know. Before writing, please check inside the item, or in the pile of flyers/stickers that are always included with orders as sometimes the DL cards are included there.

Q: DO YOU OFFER IMMEDIATE DOWNLOAD CODES WITH YOUR RELEASES?

A: We do have a bandcamp page at https://outofseason.bandcamp.com where you can purchase most of our releases and download a copy immediately. The items listed there have slightly higher prices compared to this website, to cover the extra fees charged collected by bandcamp.

Q: DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE FOR YOUR RELEASES?

A: Typically, yes, but for some titles it is not always possible. Feel free to email us and inquire if you are interested in a wholesale order, we're always looking for new distributors!

Q: DO YOU OFFER TRADES FOR YOUR RELEASES?

A: Contact us if you have quality releases of dungeon synth, black metal or dark ambient on tape/cd/vinyl - we are not interested in thrash, death metal, grind etc!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY?

A: All sales are final. No returns or exchanges unless we accidentally mail you an incorrect item. If an item is defective we will replace it free of charge, of course.

Q: HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER? IS IT SECURE?

A: Our site is secured using industry-standard SSL encryption.
The checkout process is powered by PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Shopify Payments (for credit cards), some of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, we have all the same securities and payment fraud protection available that these trusted companies do.
