Taking cues from Celtic music, but reimagined through darker electronic music atmospheres and nostalgic RPG soundtracks. Mari Lwyd presents a lush and vigorous journey into folklore, legends, medieval romanticism and long-forgotten fantasy realms.

'Future King' was originally released on tape almost exactly five years ago, and presented as the compelling follow-up to the 2018 debut album 'Y Ddraig Goch' (GON083). It remains the last known transmission from the anonymous entity behind the project, and now stands as a peak entry in the neo-medieval dungeon synth style also practiced by Fief, Utred, Squire et. al.
